Brentry and Halterworth Developments

Two new residential developments have been proposed recently by developers. Neither of the proposed sites are allocated for housing in the current Borough Local Plan. 

The first is at the Hillier's Brentry site in Jermyns Lane, next to Ganger Farm.  

The developers, Highwood, have mounted a display and brochure which they have now posted online and invite initial comment.  The initial RDS response is that we are likely to oppose the development on environmental, infrastructure and planning strategy grounds.  You may like to take a look at the early proposals.

The second is at Halterworth at the back of Halterworth School.  Similarly, the initial proposals for this development by Gladman are online for you to view.  The RDS Planning and Natural Environment Committees will be forming an opinion on this and responding as the process develops.
