In 2020, we received the coveted Best of the Best Award. This year, we were once again awarded with the Travellers' Choice Award! We sincerely thank all visitors for their continuous support and positive feedback, and we will continue to keep the Museum free and open for every visitor.

A Vision for the Future

Fo Guang Shan is taking giant steps towards a sustainable future! In 2024, it received the 9th National Environmental Education Award and certification for its environmental education facilities, affirming its commitment to environmental stewardship. Meanwhile, the Buddha Museum aims to become a low-carbon museum by 2030 and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Buddhist Botanic Gardens

The Buddhist Botanic Gardens are a sanctuary of natural beauty, showcasing a diverse array of plants such as Bodhi trees, Poison Bulb, Bergamot, and Asoka trees. The picturesque scenery around the Camphor Grove Ecology Pond is particularly stunning. Different seasons bring various butterfly species and small creatures to visit the Butterfly Trail at the Buddha Museum.
