To support those offering ministry to children each Sunday, we have started to compile Lectionary-based resources via Google Drive. It is hoped that these will prompt planning or provide sheets just to print and have available. We are using the Revised Common Lectionary readings to enable continuity with what adults are engaging, thereby engendering discussion between generations and within families.

If you, and/or members of your congregation, would like to have access to this Google Drive folder, please email Fee with name(s), email(s), and congregation.

We are hosting an Afternoon Tea for all who work with children & young people on Sunday 17th November at St Ninian's Church, Comely Bank. We will gather at 3:30pm and finish around 5pm. Register via this link.

This newly-published book has developed from courses being run by churches over many years. It is available to borrow from the Diocesan Office.

There will be a Diocesan Lent Course for 2025, inspired by the words "Christ has no body but yours". It will be available late-2024 / early-2025.

For access to Lectionary-based resources for children via Google Drive, please email Fee with name, email, and congregation.

    Links to various

Creationtide resources, for worship and small groups, are on the Diocese website.

Net Zero discussion cards can be borrowed from the Diocese Office (contact Joanna). Other resources, events, and ideas are at:

    netzerochurch.scot

Resources are available for Fairtrade Fortnight (9th-22nd September) via the Fairtrade website.

    Adventures in Faith

Adventures in Faith is back! Some of you will remember this programme of work from the mid-00s until 2017, which sought to share learning and discipleship events and resources across the whole Diocese. We are growing this work once again, and Adventures in Faith seemed as good a title as any to use. Read more about what is happening and how to access/share information by clicking on this link.

In previous DMMC News emails, there was a section towards the end entitled 'Training and Events for All'. This information is now entitled Adventures in Faith Digest: it is available on our website and can be access by anyone by clicking on the image or this link.

Please do share this with your congregation, who can sign-up using the button below, or share the QR code via church magazines, noticeboards, pew-sheets, etc.
