Let's Show Up and Be Counted!

No Kings Rally 2

On Saturday, October 18th, we’re joining voices across the country in the

No Kings 2 Rally  — a powerful stand against authoritarianism, political extremism, and the unraveling of our democratic institutions. Whether you can attend the rally in Shallotte, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC, your presence matters. Bring a friend, bring a sign, bring your VOICE. This is our moment to show that we the people will not be silenced, sidelined, or ruled. Let’s gather together, make noise, and remind our leaders that democracy belongs to all of us — not just the powerful few.

Myrtle Beach Location - Chapin Memorial Park - 400 14th Ave North

Time: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Momentum is building for the No Kings 2 Rally at Chapin Memorial Park in Myrtle Beach, and it’s shaping up to be a powerful day of civic action and community solidarity. You can register at Nokings.org and click on Myrtle Beach.  More than 300 participants have already registered, and volunteers are invited to help anytime during the day — even an hour or two makes a difference. Setup begins at 12:00 PM, and attendees are encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to stand out as helpers. Please bring a case of water if you can contribute, and remember this is a peaceful protest — no weapons permitted. Let’s show up together and make our VOICE heard for democracy! If you can volunteer, please contact Kaylee Amaker at [email protected].

Protect the right to vote!!

Your voice matters!

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) — a bipartisan federal agency that helps states run elections — is considering a new rule requiring voters to show a passport or other proof of citizenship to register to vote.

If passed, this “show-your-papers” rule could block millions of eligible Americans — especially women, students, seniors, and low-income citizens — from voting. States already verify citizenship before adding voters to the rolls. This proposal would only create unnecessary barriers to our fundamental right to vote.

The EAC is accepting public comments until October 20, but anti-voter groups have already flooded their site with misleading messages.

Let’s make sure our voices are heard and stand up for every citizen’s right to vote.

Add your comment now!

When leaving your comment, you can say something simple like:

“I oppose any rule requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote.
States already verify eligibility. This would unfairly block eligible Americans from voting.”

It takes just one minute, and your voice truly makes a difference.

Let’s flood the EAC with common sense about votingbefore

October 20. Share this information with your friends!! Together, we can protect democracy and ensure every eligible voter has a voice.
