THANK YOU FOR COMING TO "SCREENAGERS"!

If you were one of the many D102 families who attended the screening of Screenagers with your kids, thank you for showing up and helping spark meaningful tech conversations at home! The turnout was impressive and clearly a reflection of the importance of this topic in our community! 

We hope the film prompted questions and discussions about social media, video games, smartwatches — and maybe even how today’s devices and platforms are intentionally designed to keep us hooked.

The film closed with an important message: talk with your friends and family about your tech plans and boundaries. In other words, build community around this topic. That's the heart of Hold the Phone.

LISA HONOLD TO VISIT D102

In the final installment of the D102 and Hold the Phone 2026 Tech Education Series, Lisa Honold, Director of the Center for Online Safety, will visit April 13–15.

She will lead assemblies for all D102 students in grades 3–8, as well as host a Parent Night on April 14 at Park Jr High. Expect to hear about the messages Lisa shared with the kids about digital reputations, safety, bullying and more!
