| Remember the yarn shop romances that we've been talking about here for ages? Somehow in the chaos, I got them all up for preorder. The whole trilogy is ready to go, and we're just going to take a quick walk through them because, yanno, they're fun. Also, I've learned that this kind of series setup is called a "girl gang," where the female main characters all start together in the first book and then the series takes us through every one of them until they're all paired off by the end. I've seen it before with three sisters, for example. In this case, we have a pair of cousins who own a yarn shop together, and their best friend who's an indie yarn dyer. Because yarn is so much fun. |

Come on, that's gorgeous. Anyhow... |

Book One: Hooked on the Heart |
|
A mixup has Natalie teaching her sarcastic neighbor how to cook—never knowing he owns a restaurant.
Natalie’s shown a parade of neighbors how to survive in this dump of an apartment building, but the newest guy doesn’t even know how to boil water. He’s got an awesome smile, but the take-out containers on his table tell her he’s getting ripped off by that tourist-trap French restaurant. She’s no master chef (she owns a yarn store) but at least she can teach him to cook.
Colin’s been in town less than twenty-four hours before his overbearing (but cute) upstairs neighbor insults the restaurant he just bought, then starts telling him how to feed himself. He plays along because obviously she knew he was being sarcastic…right? Except once she starts turning on the burners, it’s hard to ignore the sparks.
Chili, tacos, risotto… The relationship is delicious, but at any moment, the lies could unravel, and two hearts will get seared. |

Hooked on the Heart is on preorder for $.99. I'm probably going to bump the price up to $3.99 after a while, but at least until August 29 (the release date) it's lower. I really want you to jump into my yarn shop romances.
Also, the series title is a gift from one of my readers. I was bumbling around trying to figure out what to call this series, when she messaged me, "Crafted with Love," and....well....thank you so much, Charity. You are a lifesaver. Or at least, a title-saver. |

I will not be disappearing again. Things seem to have settled down, and besides, I need to tell you about the next two books in the series because I love them so much. Natalie and Colin are awesome, don't get me wrong. But Lilah (the yarn-dyer) is a bright-eyed wild child who takes my breath away, and Brooke (from the third book) absolutely captured my heart and soul with her story. I hope you guys love them as much as I do. |

I am 20% into this story, but so far it's fun. I asked for "clean/sweet military romance" recommendations on a Facebook group, and 75% of the responses were Jess Mastorakos. I'm listening to the audio, and it's done well. It's fun. I've laughed a few times.
This is a failed matchmaker trope (which you'll be seeing more of momentarily, and yes that's foreshadowing) where his mother has hired a matchmaking agency to set up her emotionally-stunted son with the perfect woman, and the matchmaker ends up being just a little too right for him to be set up with anyone other than her.
Which, of course, is forbidden.
Let the hijinks ensue!
A Match for the Marine is available on Amazon, and the audibook is free on Hoopla. |
