School Prize: If students read over 35,000 minutes, one of the principals might be pied, slimed, or dunked!

Book Tasting: Join us on Thursday, Jan 23, for a book tasting in the Taylor school library during lunch. Students can explore a variety of books and choose ones they might want to read. Filling out a form with their book impressions makes them eligible for a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. Free snacks will be provided, and the Millbrae Library will donate free books!

Thank you for your support—let's make this Read-a-thon a success!

Read-a-Thon Info

Why It Matters: Millbrae is the lowest-funded school district in San Mateo County. Every dollar raised helps provide your children with vital learning resources and enrichment programs that other well-funded districts enjoy.

What You Can Do:

  • We need each child to raise $100 to make a meaningful impact.
  • Keep reading and fundraising through January 27 to help us reach our goal!

Exciting Raffle Prizes:

  • Make at least one donation for a chance to win a $50 gift card.
  • Donate $100 to earn a raffle ticket for a $100 gift card.
  • Raise $100 to earn a raffle ticket for an Amazon Kindle.

You’re Making a Difference: By supporting MEF, you’re directly enriching your child’s education and helping ensure they have access to the opportunities they deserve.

Music Needs Your Help!

Dear music parents,

As you know, there is a lot to building a music program. Amanda Negrete works endless days,  working to coordinate lots of moving parts. In the past we have had a dedicated group of parents step up to volunteer their time to help her. Unfortunately, due to children graduating and moving out of our middle school music program, we are in need of a new group of parents to help. The primary needs are coordinating Disneyland trip, fundraising, & concerts. This year we are asking ALL Taylor music parents to commit to help in some way.  As the saying goes, "many hands make light work."

Please email us using the button below to let us know you are interested in helping. We will send you more information and happily welcome you to our team. We'll explain all the tasks we need to get covered in order to ensure that we can provide a great year to our music students.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Musically,
Taylor Music parents
