Happy Black History Month, We’re excited to announce that we are celebrating 10 years of Black Fashion Week|USA by serving as the co-curator of the upcoming “ Connecting Threads African Fashion In Chicago exhibit opening at the Field Museum on Friday, February 28th. This special exhibit will be displayed through March 2026. We’re thrilled to showcase Chicago-based designers with rich heritage and cultural ties to African fashion.



As part of our celebration. Join us online this month as we kick off our Black To the Motherland Designer Spotlight series featuring global/national African designers and Chicago’s very own talented designers of the African Diaspora. Meet us at the field museum on  Friday February 28th for the opening day of the exhibit.
