Big Trouble In Little Argentina

Samuel Edward Konkin III wrote against trying to find solutions to political problems in politics themselves. He wrote against the very concept of a “libertarian party”. A core reason he started agorism to begin with was to combat that as a practice and as a means of praxis. He warned that seeing this sort of thing as a Solution™ allowed for a variety of attacks to occur on the libertarian movement, and that this sort of thing should be seen as just that, a well-funded conservative movement that has no actual bearing on achieving statelessness and libertarianism.

He'd be disappointed in certain people these days…

From the failed paleo strategy of the 90s, to the more modern MAGA sellouts, there are plenty of examples of the libertarian party and movement being hijacked by authoritarian right-wingers. This is because there is a staunch segment of the libertarian movement that hates the left more than they love liberty. They want to purge and oppress the left out of every circle that they see them in, even if those people aren't properly and logically identified as leftists to begin with. And they don't care how they achieve that. They would be anathema to the Movement For A Libertarian Left that Konkin started.

And one such group of people, worships a foreign, pro-war, surveillance statist, connected to the globalist empire, in every conceivable way.

Javier Milei.

Fun fact to get all of this started off. I, for a brief period of time, was in a Facebook group for the Libertarian Party Mises Caucus. They loved it when I would post against COVID restrictions, or Biden, or something like that, and they would routinely boost and allow posts in there for that purpose.

But then a regular pattern emerged that started to tick me off. Whenever I would post a reasonable criticism of Javier Milei, I would be censored. The post would simply not be allowed to be published, and they would allow a variety of posts that supported the man. Remember that this is an American political party. Theoretically, they shouldn't be censoring people and selectively allowing posts based on loyalty to a foreign leader of any sort. Theoretically, if they're going to allow praise of somebody like that, they should be neutral enough to allow reasonable criticism. But post after post of mine was removed from this group, and it was removed based on spurious terms. I broke no rules of the group, and simply… from a libertarian perspective… shared that what he was doing was authoritarian, and resulting in the oppression of the Argentinian people, and reification of American hegemony.

So, I did what any anarchist worth their salt would do, and I lied, in order to sneak the truth into a group that clearly didn't have leaders who respect it. I titled a video, “Biden did WHAT to our money?” In the video, I started off by listing a bunch of things that Javier was doing to the people, and I even snuck an Argentine flag in the very faded distance in the thumbnail, so that anybody who found out what was in the video might see it later and hate themselves even more for allowing it.

They allowed that post in just fine, and it lasted about 24 hours before I was banned from that group, and blocked on all of their official social media pages.

They couldn't handle the truth.

See, a lot of libertarians have formed a cult around certain personalities. And these people, enact authority on libertarians’ behalf, so the libertarians can exist comfortably in their small echo chambers, acting like they're not doing any government or oppressing, while they reap the spoils of government oppression, and enjoy the fruits of economic and social protectionism from a top-down and centrally-planned hegemon. Ironically, these are the exact same kind of people Mises would have taken serious issue with.

I'm gonna be releasing an article soon for Agorist Nexus against this particular cult of personality. I've written there many times, and it's been way too long since my last one. Expect that soon.

But just know that this politician has made it easier for police to shoot people and lock up minors. He's instated a prison industrial complex. Removed the ability for protesters to even carry sticks in their own defense. Threatened their lives and livelihoods should they choose to wear masks to protest. Because it interferes with an AI facial recognition surveillance state that he's trying to build, alongside a pre-crime Minority Report style apparatus that will attack them before they're even reasonably suspected. A hawk, on foreign policy, and a Zionist shill, and he's extremely bad for his country, in a variety of ways that pro-Milei media is not going to tell you.

But, here's a little taste of what's to come.

There's been a lot of protest against what Israel's been doing to the Palestinians, and rightly so. These are atrocities and war crimes and genocide, and it should be taken every bit as seriously as it's been taken, if not more. Instead of taking it seriously, however, Javier Milei is in fact endorsing the government of Israel. He said in an interview once that he literally supports everything they're doing, even right after being told about the evil that resulted in the deaths of countless children. He planned propaganda tours to suck up to them and directly endorse them on a variety of occasions.

And most recently, he was given the Israeli version of a Nobel Prize, which also included a massive monetary stipend. An American program that is designed to mirror Donald Trump's Abraham Accords, the “Isaac Accords” offers a $1 million “Genesis Prize” for people they believe to be valuable to Israeli state efforts. This money comes with strings, and you need to behave accordingly. Javier is responding by calling for Argentina to be the center of a bloc in Latin America designed to act as a regional interest for the state of Israel. He wants Uruguay, Panama, and Costa Rica on board as well. And obviously the Zionist country led by his ideological counterpart and idol Donald Trump would be along for it as well. All part of slowly turning the Western Hemisphere into an effective power cell against Palestinian rights and anyone's freedom who opposes Western hegemony.

This is obviously that, and any one who supports agorism, or any other form of stateless libertarianism, should obviously oppose this. One cannot be a Zionist libertarian, while they're using Zionism to push their authoritarian regime to a global scale.

Sadly, some people are bought into it, and some people are part of echo chambers online that resist any and all outside information about this politician they have learned to idolize and revere.

As agorists, we need to realize that there is no state solution, and we need to avoid the idolization of any politician, much less letting them get away with the same kinds of things that we would oppose if they were done in this country by these politicians. The whole point is to find ways that exist outside of the state because the state will always betray libertarian interests and always fail libertarian ends. It doesn't matter if it happens in Argentina or America, it will be handled in the exact same way and result in tyranny, and huge states with no accountability to the people.

So if that sounds like you, you're in the right place.

And we have a premium newsletter for you as well. In the most recent edition, I give tips and advice that could actually very much help activists on the ground in Palestine, and various other activist groups who realistically want to break free from government control and stop those who would silence them or monitor them. And we have plenty of other heavy hitters from people like Derrick Broze, talking about how to build freedom in your local community now, and many more.
