The First International Symposium of Nonbinary Scientists - Registration & Call for Abstracts

November 1-3, 2025

Hello nonbinary scientists! Thanks to everyone who filled out our survey about how best to celebrate our 5-year anniversary as an organization. There was a clear consensus: people wanted to attend organizational meetings, social events, and flash talks, so we will be doing all of those things and more.

Now it is time to submit your abstracts for: The First International Symposium of Nonbinary Scientists!

Register & Submit an Abstract

Feel free to forward this email to the nonbinary scientists in your life, as well as friends, colleagues, LGBT campus organizations, and your grandparents.

Membership in ISNBS is required to present at and attend symposium events. If you are not yet an ISNBS member, please submit a membership application before submitting the symposium registration form.

Priority abstract submissions will close on October 3.
You can still submit abstracts after that time, but they may not be reviewed. Abstracts will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis.

The symposium will be all virtual. Depending on interest, there may be in-person meetups during the symposium in Montreal, NYC, and somewhere in the UK. Please post in our Slack if you would be interested in attending one of those meetups.

If you're interested in helping organize the symposium (review abstracts, promote the event, host a session) please join the #team-events channel on Slack.

This was our first ever t-shirt design and it has finally come true!

We are so happy to have you all as members of our community. Please reach out with any questions, comments, concerns, or compliments to [email protected]
