  • *Need a Race Organiser for the 6/12 hour event. Land is secured! We need a race organiser for this event - as land is secured, we need an event person. (The reward is above the regular volunteer recognising additional work involved for longer events. QRA would like to offer free entry for the main organiser to the 2026 Australasian Championships!) (All other volunteers will still receive the QRA Volunteer Rewards here; Volunteer Rewards – Rogaining). [email protected].

Join us for an action-packed year of rogaining in 2026. We have an exciting program of events planned, leading up to the 24hour Australasian Rogaining Championships. Start the season by competing in one or more of our shorter events, improve your nav and fitness, day and night. There are no excuses to be sitting at home on your weekend. If you can’t compete, we’d love for you to join as a volunteer.

Volunteers needed

QRA is completely run by volunteers – members of the organisation and their family and friends. We do ask that each member makes a contribution to at least one event during the year. In many cases it won’t prevent you from competing. It’s a lot of fun, you learn heaps about rogaining and we have many experienced hands to support you if you are a little unsure, so give it a go. Please reach out via email: [email protected].

Training Day

The Qld Rogaine Association invites you to our annual training day.

The program is aimed at both novice and semi-experienced rogainers. The day will be adapted to the number of participants, and their level of navigation experience. The day will consist of both theory and hands on exercises.

Date: Saturday, 21 March 2026

Time: 8am to 1pm

Location: Bellbird Grove

Cost: $5 per person

Organising team: David Firman and QRA Volunteers

Admin contact: David Firman
