Do you know an outstanding woman whom you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega? Women we’ve welcomed through this program have included our friends, family members, coworkers, campus professionals and other women who have made a difference in their communities, in their professions and in the lives of others. Alpha Chi Omega shapes the future through the powerful, transformative and everlasting connections of real, strong women. The National Alumna Initiate Program (NAIP) extends our membership experience to real, strong women in our communities who identify with the mission and values of Alpha Chi and care about our philanthropic initiatives, who did not have the opportunity to join Alpha Chi Omega as a collegiate member. Please let us know if you have a friend, family or neighbor that you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega. Contact Bev Nichols at [email protected] for more information.

| | Mu Mu's March Annual meeting was an amazing evening of mixing our chapter business with learning the game of Mahjong. Our excellent, skilled teacher, Amy Tonyes-Zeta Sigma, guided the group through the rules of the game and the challenges. Our individual table coaches were critical to the game. We had 27 sister in attendance from 11 collegiate chapters. Thanks to all that brought yummy snacks, drinks, Mahjong sets and attended. Many thanks to Whitney Schmale-Zeta Sigma for planning our evening. Sounds like we will be doing this one again. |

|
| | We discovered Pegah’s Family Restaurant in Lenexa on March 3, where 10 enjoyed choices including delicious breakfast, mexican, soup or sandwiches. We spent time chatting and writing Easter cards to sisters we miss seeing. Come join us April 7. In one meal, there’s always something uplifting to walk away with. |

| | Lisa Littrell generously hosted our March 10 Gamma get together at her clubhouse, with assistance from Carolyn Young as co-hostess. Treats included yummy carrot cake, fruit salad and early Easter sweets. Gamma group meets three to four times a year during the day for a short informal meeting, a program with dessert, or a visit to an interesting venue.
While our scheduled speaker was a no show, eight of us wasted no time entertaining ourselves with stories of Alpha Chi from our pasts. A few highlights include a memorable provencial mint green living room, a weekly day to wear matching sorority outfits, passing a loving cup many times and cranking the Motown tunes up on Fridays so a neighboring fraternity might hear.
We look forward to our next event, the Annual Spring Salad Luncheon. |
