Last week, we gave evidence at the NSW Parliament’s inquiry into clean indoor air.
Plum spoke alongside representatives from Thrive IAQ, Burnet Institute, Centre for Safe Air, the HEAL National Research Network, Air Club, and others to highlight that indoor air quality is a critical accessibility issue for people living with disability, immunocompromise, and chronic health conditions.
Across the hearing, the message was consistent: the science on the health impacts of poor indoor air is clear, and we already have practical tools and proven technology that can make indoor spaces safer, healthier and more inclusive.
We’re grateful to the committee for the opportunity to contribute to this process.
