Please give Palestinians a few minutes of your time by signing and SHARING the EU petition to ban trade with illegal settlements

Hey friend,

We’re still collecting signatures for the EU Citizens’ Initiative to ban trade with illegal settlements. If you haven’t yet signed, could you please take a minute or so to pop over here and add your name (just be sure to fill in your details correctly or the EU will invalidate your signature, and if the captcha gives you problems, please keep trying thanks!)

Click here sign the ECI in less than two minutes!

SHARING: PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!

If you have already signed (or just signed now) then we still really need your help to increase our reach. There’s only so many people we can reach with mailshots, social media and street stalls. But with your help we can reach a much wider audience!

The best way to get signatures is by encouraging friends and family to sign on instant messaging services such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Signal, Telegram etc.

Below you can find three different sample messages that you can copy and paste and send to your contacts to ask them to sign and share it on. Just open up your messaging app of choice, copy the text, and starting send to your friends and family – dropping the messages into your group chats is great so please do that, but sending on a one-to-one basis is even better.

Incidentally, WhatsApp has the added benefit of allowing you to create a ‘Broadcast List” that you can add 250 people to send a message to all of them at once  - simply click the three dots in the top right of the mobile app, choosing New Broadcast, and then start adding your contacts.

Hey, I know you are someone that cares about what is happening to the Palestinian people - so could I ask you to take just two minutes to sign this really important EU Citizens' Initiative calling for an end to European trade with Israel's illegal settlements in Palestine? And after you've signed it - or if you've already signed - to share with 10 people you know also care about Palestine?

If we can get 1 million signatures from EU citizens (no matter what country they are in) then the EU will be forced by law to debate our proposed measure.

You can sign the petition here https://actions.sumofus.org/a/stop-settlements-eci

Just be sure to fill in all your details accurately or the EU will invalidate your signature later on.

Thank you so much!

Hey! I don't know if you have already signed the ECI to ban products from illegal settlements from entering the EU markets? If not, could I ask you to please do so right now.

You can sign the petition here https://actions.sumofus.org/a/stop-settlements-eci

Just be sure to fill in all your details accurately or the EU will invalidate your signature later on.

Oh, and just as importantly, if you could please spread the word and share it around - even with ten people you think will sign!!! That's the only way we'll achieve this. 😀  Thanks a mil!

Hello Family, as you know, I'm active for Palestinian freedom, and right now I need your help!

An EU Citizens' Initiative (ECI) has been launched to ban European trade with Israel's illegal settlements. An ECI is a powerful petition which obliges the EU to act on its demands, once we reach 1 million signatures from EU citizens.

So I'm asking you to please SIGN and SHARE the petition. It takes 2 minutes! You can sign the petition here https://actions.sumofus.org/a/stop-settlements-eci

Just be sure to fill in all your details accurately or the EU will invalidate your signature later on. And if you could please share it on to another ten people that would be lovely.

Thanks fam!

Thanks so much for all your help in promoting the ECI, it’s truly appreciated!
