| If you are unable to attend in person, please visit the page and download the template letter so you can write to your MP. There's a link to the website "Write to Them", as well as the option to add your name to our Roll Call of supporters, which will be read out on the day.
More details, including a map of the location and anything else you may need to know, will be sent in plenty of time for the 16th July. So join us via Eventbrite. Let's show the Government that we are not backing down. |

| It can be difficult to grasp the scale of loss from disasters, wars and other terrible occurrences. Each year poppies are used to illustrate just how many young soldiers paid the ultimate price during the first World War.
To date, there has been nothing depicting the number of children that were taken for adoption, simply because their mothers were unmarried. Physical displays help us grasp the extent and impact of a tragedy and are incredibly powerful, so we're creating an art installation to show the magnitude of forced adoption loss in the UK during the ‘Baby Harvest’ decades - from WW2, right up to the late 1980s. |

| We now have over 500 hand-made booties. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. |
|
To ensure this project has the intended impact, we need your help - and half a million baby booties. (That’s a lot of wool!)
Contributions for this ambitious project can be knitted, crocheted, sewn, created in collage, depicted in a painting or drawing or even a photographed. As baby booties are small, photographs or artworks should also be no more than 6ins square, Smaller if possible.
To take part in this project, please click the button below to let us know you want to be involved. We’ll send you more information as the project takes shape.
NB. For the time being, don't worry about the deadline. We're looking at the latter part of 2026, which should allow sufficient time to accumulate the quantity of booties and artwork we will need to make an impact. |
|
We are still exploring options for gallery / exhibition space. The ideal venue will be low cost (or donated to MAA), and have good public transport and road links. Do keep sending us your venue suggestions - and your beautiful knitted, crocheted, painted or photographted creations, and we'll update you as things progress.
NB. the Foundling Museum is unable to assist us with this project. |

|
| We’re still encouraging everyone to sign and share the MAA petition - we need more signatures! If you haven’t already done so, please sign and share it widely! If you’ve already signed and shared, please share the details again.
The more signatures we can collect, the more impact it will have when we deliver it to No.10. |

| We are humbled and incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to donate to our campaign. Your contributions have helped us update and print leaflets and flyers and promote MAA more effectively. |
|
The campaign is run entirely by volunteers and has a very small turnover. We have made some changes which may improve our eligibility for funding, but for the moment we still need your support to keep the campaign going. |

Large or small, a single sum, or a regular monthly contribution. Click the button below to explore ways to support MAA.
