VoNat, NS Train Farmers Around Mount Cameroon on Regenerative Agriculture

Voice of Nature (VoNat), in partnership with Regenerative Agriculture Hub of Nkwa4Change Solutions (NS), has trained 52 farmers communities in the Mount Cameroon Area, including Bwitingi, Bwiteva and Bokova on regenerative agriculture and agroforestry practices. The training, which took place recently at the Bwitingi Council Hall in Buea-Cameroon, also had the Regional Chief for Conservation Promotion and Monitoring at the South West Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED), the Bororo Indigenous community and staff of both VoNat and NS in attendance.  Read More

Mount Nlonako Goliath Frog Research: VoNat Maps Conservation Threats at Three New Villages in Manjo

With the support of Re: wild, Voice of Nature (VoNat), has since February 2025 been engaging local communities in carrying out a participatory mapping of Goliath frog distribution and ecological threats in different communities in the Mount Nlonako area for the development of a conservation vision or action plan for this endangered and emblematic species. After working in Manengoteng, Ngol, and Lala Mission villages, the VoNat research team has within the past few weeks been engaging local hunters, chiefs and village leaders in Njumbeng 1, Abang, Lala Village and Lowe in mapping the distribution and ecological threats of the goliath frog in their villages.  Read More
