Krakow University of Economics at the NAFSA conference in USA

Krakow University of Economics was represented at the NAFSA conference and fairs organised by the Association of International Educators 2025 in San Diego, USA. The event brought together more than 8,000 internationalization professionals, educators, dreamers and change makers from more than 100 countries. In addition, the Expo brought together more than 350 exhibitors representing nearly 50 countries. KUE was among them, along with 16 other Polish universities, as part of the NAWA booth. The 17th International Scientific Conference CMQ 2025 - "Knowledge – Economy – Society"

June 9-11, one of the key academic events of the year, CMQ 2025 brought together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the dynamic interplay between knowledge creation, economic development, and societal progress.
Thematic areas of the conference include:
- Management, quality, accounting, and controlling,
- Business informatics and technological innovations,
- Sustainable development and cross-sectoral cooperation,
- Commercialization of research results and integration of knowledge with practice.

Scientific seminar "Open Innovations in Tourism" |

On June 10, 2025, the Krakow University of Economics hosted the scientific seminar “Open Innovations in Tourism”, organized by the KUE's Department of Tourism as part of the international project "Empowering Open Innovation Tourism Networks", funded by the Visegrad Fund. The meeting was opened and the participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Science, Professor Sławomir Śmiech.

5th International Scientific Seminar "A Few Minutes on the Idea of Law"

In June, the Department of Real Estate Law and Tax Law at KUE hosted the 5th International Scientific Seminar in the series "A Few Minutes on the Idea of Law." This year’s edition, themed "Legal Regulations as a Tool in Resolving Value Conflicts," brought together distinguished experts from Poland and abroad.
This year’s edition was held under the theme "Legal Regulations as a Tool in Resolving Value Conflicts" and brought together experts from various countries. The conference had an international character and featured distinguished speakers, including Professor Aurora Lopez Gueto – Professor Titular de Derecho Romano, and Anna Karabowicz, PhD, Professora Contratada Doctora from Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville. The discussions and lectures highlighted the crucial role of law in addressing complex value dilemmas. |

Academic Sports Association of UEK Returns to Barcelona
|
|
For the third time in the past year, a five-person delegation from AZS Krakow University of Economics visited Barcelona, this time as part of the “Kraków – Barcelona Futsal Coaching Collaboration” project, funded by the Erasmus+ Sport program. Coaching Internship in the Heart of Spanish Futsal – during 10-day intensive stay, the participants completed a coaching internship with top-tier Spanish futsal clubs – Industrias Santa Coloma and Les Corts UBAE – and observed youth competitions involving FC Barcelona during the prestigious Copa Catalunya tournament.
