| It’s a new membership year. Our membership year runs from August 1st to July 31st . We invite you to become a dues-paying member for the 2025-2026 year! Last year we had 103 dues paying members. Our goal this year is 140; we are currently at 92. Please help us achieve that goal and join us at our programs and events. It’s amazing connecting with sisters from so many different collegiate chapters. Annual dues cover national per capita dues, operating expenses, convention/province fees, and provide support for the 7 Kansas and Missouri Collegiate Chapters we support, along with the National Fraternity and various Alpha Chi Omega causes. Thank you in advance for supporting Mu Mu by paying your membership dues! |

|
| As an added benefit this year, pay your dues before our White Elephant event and you’ll be entered in a drawing for this beautiful Lyre Bird ring dish. Aqua blue ceramic tipped in gold, it measures 5” tall. Winner to be announced at our White Elephant event on January 22, 2026. Must be present to win, please. |

Do you know an outstanding woman whom you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega? Women we’ve welcomed through this program have included our friends, family members, coworkers, campus professionals and other women who have made a difference in their communities, in their professions and in the lives of others. Alpha Chi Omega shapes the future through the powerful, transformative and everlasting connections of real, strong women. The National Alumna Initiate Program (NAIP) extends our membership experience to real, strong women in our communities who identify with the mission and values of Alpha Chi and care about our philanthropic initiatives, who did not have the opportunity to join Alpha Chi Omega as a collegiate member. Please let us know if you have a friend, family or neighbor that you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega. Contact Bev Nichols at [email protected] for more information.

| As this year ends, we share few happy highlights from 2025:
|
|
Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’93 |
|
Wedding congratulations to Ashley Malone, who married Jake Voos on June 28, 2025, at Brookside Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City. Their celebration carried an extra layer of meaning for their photographer, Taylor Kelley of Taylor Kelley Photography. Ashley and Taylor first met at the Presbyterian Church of Stanley — Ashley as a youth sponsor and Taylor as a student in the youth group. Ashley often talked about her love for Alpha Chi Omega and her Gamma Zeta chapter at K-State, sparking an excitement in Taylor that made it all the more special when she later became an Alpha Chi herself at the Phi Chapter at KU in ’08. Their story intertwines even further through Jake’s mom, Claudia, also a Gamma Zeta Alpha Chi alum initiate ’89, who re-introduced Jake and Ashley. And the Alpha Chi legacy runs deep—Claudia’s mother, Ann (Cowan) Van Doren, was an Alpha Chi Omega at KU ’44. Ashley was able to meet her before her death in May 2022. Claudia’s husband Claude was a prominent architect who helped design the Phi house at KU. We count 41 Alpha Chis in this amazing group shot. For their photographer, capturing Ashley and Jake’s wedding truly felt like a beautiful, full-circle moment! |

Emily and husband Chris and welcomed twins Jack and Molly on September 4, 2025. Big sister Claire, 20 months, loves to help them with their pacifiers, say “Hi” and wave. And, of course, grandma Lisa Littrell, Phi (University of Kansas) ’74, is over the moon.

Wedding congratulations to Anne Sobba, who wed Amy Jonason on March 21, 2025, during an evening ceremony at Cellar 222 in Kansas City, MO. They met 12 years ago when they were both teaching at Nieman Elementary in Shawnee Mission, where Anne taught 5th grade and Amy was the math specialist. They share loves of the Chiefs, KU basketball, traveling, wine tasting and spending time with family. |

| Mu Mu held our Alpha Chi Omega Founders' Day celebration on October 30th at Milburn Country Club. We had an amazing evening celebrating the 140th anniversary of our founding and Mu Mu's 111th anniversary. We honored five 50-yr members (Ann Cory, Carolyn Fletcher, Shelley Baker, Kathleen Terrill, from Phi Chapter and Bev Nichols, Alpha Nu Chapter) and one 25-yr member (Kim Bartak, Gamma Zeta). We also celebrated Ann Hochscheid, Alpha Delta, 95th birthday. We announced our Mu Mu AX Woman of the Year, Carla Mattson. She was in Paris celebrating her birthday, so we will celebrate her upon her return. Phi Chapter took home the Traveling Lyre Trophy for having the most sisters in attendance. We had sisters from 9 collegiate chapters and one alumna initiate chapter. It was a wonderful evening celebrating our sisterhood. |

| We discovered Cactus Grill at Bluhawk on November 4, where 17 enjoyed yummy enchiladas, tacos, burritos and more. Thanks to Clarise Hovis, Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’80, who had brought free queso coupons for all. We raised our glasses to three milestone birthdays: - 90 Years on Oct. 26 for Marjorie Frauenfelder, Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’55
- 90 Years on Nov. 22 for Marilyn Lucas, Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’55
- 95 Years on Nov. 4 for Ann Hochscheid, Alpha Delta (University of Cincinnati) ’49, who is shown at the inset here being honored with a cake at our Founders’ Day celebration on Oct. 30.
