Your Monthly Creative Exercise

Welcome to your first creative exercise!

As a member of our 'Friends of Art4Space' you will be receiving a series of creative prompts thoughtfully designed by our very own Art4Space staff.

These creative exercises are practiced daily at our Community Arts Centre, and our tutors want to share them with our wider audience to encourage creative holistic wellness for everyone.

Our exercises are designed to be simple and can be done anywhere whether you’re at home, at your place of work, in the park, on a train etc.

You’ll only need some basic art materials, and you could keep a sketchbook or notebook specifically for your creative exercises to help keep them together and easily be accessible.

So, sit back, relax, don’t overthink it and let your creative responses take you away…

November:

Remembering that special someone

By Charlene Skyers

Image description

Remembering that special someone

Is there anyone special you haven’t seen or spoken to in a long time whom you’d like to meet up with again? Maybe you’ve lost contact, or they are in another country or perhaps they are
no longer here but still here in spirit and in your heart.

Write a letter or create a greetings card for them. Start off by writing ‘Thinking of you’ and write down all the things you would say to them, or you could write about all the qualities and attributes that made them a special person to you.

Decorate your letter or greetings card by adding colours and symbols that represent this significant person.

You are receiving this because you are part of the 'Friends of Art4Space' membership scheme.
