Internationalization is no longer an additional dimension of university activity - it has become one of its key pillars, shaping academic, research, and social development. In this dynamic context, the International Programs Office of the Krakow University of Economics actively monitors trends, legal frameworks, and best practices that are defining the future of European universities.
The final months of 2025 marked an especially intensive period of exchange of ideas and experiences. Staff members of the IPO participated in major national and European events dedicated to internationalization, enabling not only close observation of emerging directions but also active engagement in the international debate on the future of higher education. On 11 December 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. The visitors included Prof. Driton Balaj, Dean of the Faculty of Economy, and Prof. Visar Rrustemi from the same faculty. The visit was hosted by Prof. Małgorzata Miśniakiewicz from the Department of Food Product Quality, with overall coordination provided by the International Relations Office.

This remarkable distinction places IER among the most recognizable and dynamically developing academic journals worldwide. XVIII International Scientific Conference CMQ 2026 |
|
The College of Management and Quality Sciences at Krakow University of Economics (KUE), together with Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University, are please to invite you to the XVIII International Scientific Conference CMQ 2026, entitled “Knowledge–Economy–Society.” The conference will take place from June 8 to 10, 2026. The CMQ Conference serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the academic community, representatives of local and central government, and the business sector. The College of Management and Quality Sciences at KUE comprises 25 Departments, which belong to three institutes: the Institute of Management, the Institute of Informatics, Accounting, and Controlling, and the Institute of Quality Sciences and Product Management, forming a strong foundation for conducting and developing scientific research in these fields.
