Moore Miles for Carers

Roger Moore, our CEO Keri's husband, along with two of her kids, Charlie and Ava, are hitting the road for the Alloa Half Marathon! They're running on 22nd March to support Stirling Carers Centre and would love your support to help them reach their fundraising target!

"Stirling Carers Centre do amazing work supporting unpaid carers across the Stirling area - people who quietly give so much of themselves every day to care for loved ones.

My wife is the CEO of the charity, so this cause is not only close to our family, but also central to her work every day. I see first-hand how vital funding support is in allowing the team to continue providing advice, respite, emotional support and practical help to carers who so often put themselves last." - Roger

  • Bellfield Drop-in: Now 2-4pm on the first Wednesday of the month

  • Killin Drop-ins: Temporarily suspended

  • Braeport Dementia Carers' Cafe: These will continue, but our team will not be able to attend

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to resume these services soon.

Young Carers Action Day

Young Carers Action Day is an annual opportunity to shine a light on the incredible young people who care for a parent, sibling or family member. Many Young Carers balance schoolwork, friendships and growing up with significant caring responsibilities, often without others realising what they do each day.

This year’s theme is 'Fair Futures for Young Carers' - a call to action to ensure every Young Carer has the same opportunities to learn, grow and thrive as their peers. When Young Carers get the right support at the right time, it makes a real difference to their confidence, wellbeing and long‑term outcomes.

The video below was created by Young Carers from Wallace, Stirling, Dunblane and McLaren High Schools to share what it's like to be a Young Carer. Their voices and experiences help others understand what caring looks like and why support matters.
