Voice of Nature (VoNat) has facilitated a participatory workshop bringing together over 30 traditional leaders, community members, and mangrove harvesters to identify local solutions for conserving the Tiko Mangroves. VoNat Takes Conservation Education to Praise Academy |

Voice of Nature (VoNat) has stepped up its campaign to raise environmental awareness among young people by delivering a conservation education session to pupils of Praise Academy, Buea, South West Cameroon. The outreach, which is part of VoNatโs Species Conservation Programme, brought together about 60 children for a lesson focused on biodiversity, local wildlife and the threats facing ecosystems around Mount Cameroon. Voice of Nature (VoNat)โs former intern Alistair Morrell has graduated with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh, earning a Master of Science in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health. Morrell completed a one-month internship with VoNat in February 2025 , working with the organization's field team in the Mount Mbam landscape in Cameroon's West Region. His work focused on mapping ecological threats and helping communities identify and co-develop locally appropriate conservation solutions. Read More |
