After the Supreme Court struck down President Trump’s 35% punitive tariff on Canadian goods as “illegal”, Trump levied a new 10% charge that's much more acceptable.
As before, this tariff is payable at the time of purchase. Once you place the order at the advertised price, we will invoice you for the tariff charge, and then await your confirmation before shipping.
Since there’s no sales tax on goods shipped from Canada, this can reduce your extra cost (compared to ordering from a U.S supplier) –depending on the location.
Example: If a US$100 item, ordered from anywhere in the U.S., costs $20
to ship to Seattle, your total cost would be about $132.65 (with tax).
If a US$100 item, ordered from CANADA, costs $20 to ship to Seattle,
your total cost would be $130 (with tariff). There's no sales tax payable.
It is possible that Trump will increase this tariff to 15% in the future.
