Small Batches with Unique Meaning

Crafted Just for You

It's Spring! No, Winter is Back. Oh Wait, Here's Spring! Haha, Just Kidding.

I'd write something long and pithy and full of wisdom just like all my other newsletters . . . hmmm, that's not really how this goes, is it? I'll tell you what, my brain is fried this month. With the ridiculously volatile weather and baby goats arriving to fill the barn, I'm in maximum overdrive. My poor little brain can barely keep up with which set of cute twin babies belongs to which mom. Want to see the chaos? Check out my YouTube channel where you get twice daily doses of baby goat fun! And while you're there, hit the subscribe button - I'm trying to reach my goal of 1,000 subscribers before kidding season ends, and we are so close!

I have one more doe yet to kid, and she is due this week. After that I'll be sorting availability, weathers vs. bucks, and assessing personalities. My goat contact list will get that update and be the first (and likely only) to be able to secure their babies this year. Mother nature has her practical joke game strong this year and gave us 7 beautiful baby boys and one single, gorgeous doe. I'm hoping we see a few more baby girls with our last kidding, but my hopes are not high. The gaggle of boys are simply fabulous though, so I'm thrilled about that.

I am also gearing up for baby bird season, waiting patiently for the ducks and turkey to start laying. I'm pretty sure we're going be a bit delayed this year with the constant 40F swings in temperature. But eggs will come and baby birds will arrive, so preparations are underway. If you are on a contact list for baby birds, stay tuned! Last year's availability emails went out April 4th; I figure we'll be close to that timing again this year.

If you are not on that list, and want to be notified, now is the time to sign up!

March's soap release is all about cozy and warm, close to home vibes. At this time of the year Farm Hubby and I have to plan to make sure that someone is always close to home - to watch for babies being born and monitor our babies already here. Maybe you are doing the same? Perhaps starting your indoor sprouts and herb gardens or running some incense on the days that we can't yet open windows. Or maybe it's time for outdoor fires as we try to shift gears towards spring. The scents and designs invoke all of those concepts this month.

In other news, bath bombs have picked up in popularity again and this is a great time to join the subscription. Both soap and bath bomb subscription boxes are holding firm on pricing for now, which makes them a real bargain compared to shopping a la carte. It is the best way to lock in better rates, and you are always in full control of your subscription from frequency to scents to designs. You hold the reins, and I get the benefit of better planning and forecasting, which lets me to pass that savings on to you.

As always, a huge thank you to everyone. I see you, I hear you, and I appreciate every one of you. If you made it this far, thank you. And go subscribe to my YouTube channel, you are my people. 💚
