Fun League May 5th - League Begins

Hopefully some of you made it out for Practice Night. The weather this weekend was great for golf. Hope everyone was able to get out there!

Communication

A friendly reminder to communicate with your opponent each week prior to showing up at the course. That way you can discuss expectation of arrival, etc. If one team isn't able to play that day, but is making up the round at another time, please ensure your opponent knows, etc. A little communication goes a long way.

Pace of Play

A reminder to be aware of your pace of play and play ready golf. We are not asking you to rush, but we are asking everyone to do the little things to be ready to play when it is your turn. Plan your shot before you get to your ball and move forward towards your next shot as soon as possible. You can do this while others are getting ready to hit if you are not disturbing them. Park your cart in a position that allows you to quickly exit the hole and doesn't keep the next group from hitting. These little things go a long way!

One Team Opening

We have one team opening. We will plan to use the Extra Team with my team "playing" them 5/5.

Extra Team

With us currently having 13 teams, that means the Extra Team is in play. The Extra Team is #14 on the schedule. If you are scheduled to play that team, you will go play your round (you won't have a physical opponent to play with) and turn in your scores. We will randomly pick another team who played that week to match up against. The score sheets will detail who was selected as the "Extra Team" that week for the matchup.

The course website states the renamed pub should be open.

Schedule Notes

As you will see, the schedule is set for the complete round robin. Please look it over and let me know of any issues. The rest of the schedule will be filled first with any weeks postponed due to weather and then with repeat weeks on the opposite nine.
