Bloom Season on the Farm
May finally arrived for real here in New Jersey, and the whole place shifted with it. The pastures are green, the flowers are waking up, and the goats have officially moved past their grievances about April’s weather.
We wrapped up our annual vet visit last week, and everyone is cleared for summer pastures. The big spring push is behind us now, and things are settling into that gentler early‑summer rhythm. The last few goat babies will be heading to their new homes soon, and the two little ones staying here are getting ready to join the adult herds — always a bittersweet milestone.
The poultry barn is still lively, though. Spring flocks went quickly this year — Royal Palm turkeys are sold out — but we still have a limited number of ducklings, chicks, and hatching eggs available for anyone looking to round out their homestead.
Now for the May release.
This month’s May Flowers collection leans into that shift from crisp spring mornings to warm, bright days. It includes:
First Dew — White Lily & Aloe with a feather swirl
Orchard Path — Elderflower Blossoms & Quince
Meadow Muse — A light, airy wildflower blend
And Burnished Blossom (Wattle Flower), the swirl that decided to take on a life of its own and turned out better for it.
If you want to make sure you never miss these seasonal batches, the soap and Bath Bomb subscription boxes are still the easiest way to stay stocked and choose your scents.
As always, thank you for being here. I see you, I hear you, and I appreciate every one of you. If you made it this far, you're my people. And if you haven't subscribed to my YouTube channel yet, some join us. 💚
