A Thousand Thank Yous
(and a Whole Lot of Soap)
What a month. New Jersey apparently couldn't decide if we were living on the sun or in a walk-in freezer, so we just cycled through all three seasons in one week. The animals and I are rolling with it, but I won't lie, the goats looked personally offended when it hit 20 degrees again.
Speaking of goats, every single baby from this season is officially spoken for and heading to wonderful new homes. I'm thrilled with the families they're going to, and I can't wait to watch them grow up. We also have a goat show coming up next month, and you know I'll be sharing the chaos, the glamour and the inevitable goat opinions from the road.
On the poultry side of things, orders are now open for ducklings, poults, chicks and hatching eggs. If you've been waiting for spring to jump in, this is your moment. Turkey are almost completely sold out for the season already, so if you want to add Royal Palms to your flock, grab your spot now while you still can.
And now for the biggest milestone of the month, we passed 1,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel! I'm still a little stunned. Thank you for showing up, cheering us on, and letting me share this farm with you. It means more than you know.
This month's soap release is lightly inspired by April Showers: soft colors, fresh scents, and that feeling of the world waking up again. After the weather we've had, I think we all deserve something gentle and pretty.
