Directory Ads

If you own a business or know a local business that would like to advertise in our annual 2026-2027 Mu Mu Directory, the deadline is July 15th. You also don’t have to have a business! Last year, we had several sisters support their favorite business or do a tribute ad honoring an AXO woman or chapter.

Full page ads are $45. Half page ads are $30. Quarter page ads are $20. Design help is available. As an added benefit, AXO businesses are given great exposure on the Mu Mu website under ‘Sisters Shopping Sisters,’ our own network of Real, Strong Women.

Please contact Sheri Baldwin at [email protected] if you are interested.

Sponsor an Alumna Initiate Candidate

Do you know an outstanding woman whom you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega? Women we’ve welcomed through this program have included our friends, family members, coworkers, campus professionals and other women who have made a difference in their communities, in their professions and in the lives of others. Alpha Chi Omega shapes the future through the powerful, transformative and everlasting connections of real, strong women. The National Alumna Initiate Program (NAIP) extends our membership experience to real, strong women in our communities who identify with the mission and values of Alpha Chi and care about our philanthropic initiatives, who did not have the opportunity to join Alpha Chi Omega as a collegiate member. Please let us know if you have a friend, family or neighbor that you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega.

Contact Bev Nichols at [email protected] for more information.

Gamma Salad Luncheon Recap

Our annual Gamma Salad Luncheon was enjoyed on May 19 by 16 guests at Real Church in Lenexa KS.

Cheers to co-hostesses Karen Blanks, Delta Epsilon (Southeast Missouri State University) ’67, and Fran Denton, Beta Gamma (Louisiana State University) ’62, who elegantly transformed the space with many items brought from home. Thanks also to Karen’s friend Julie Bradley for her assistance.

Delicious salad choices brought by members were shared with the sweet highlight being petit fours with red carnations.

We were so happy to see Nancy Neal, Xi (University of Nebraska-Lincoln) ’52, and Wilmagene Noonan, Omicron (Baker University) ’53. We also welcomed winter out-of-towner Ann Dyniewicz,  Alpha Nu (University of Missouri) ’62, back from her sunny lanai in Florida. Ann sadly announced that she’s moving to Florida permanently this June. We will surely miss her smiling face at our events.

Gorgeous floral arrangements designed by Fran were giveaways at each table.

Generous donations to MacDowell artist colony resulted in a drawing for a special glass cake pedestal (mid-century Jeannette Glass Company Harp pattern). The winner was Beth Rosenwald, who as our fearless leader, was instrumental in planning.

Lunch Bunch Recap

We gathered on May 5 for a terrific food experience at Harp Barbecue in Overland Park. You know it’s good food in Kansas City when the napkins are paper towels instead. We numbered eight plus two adorable toddlers.

A toast was raised to our May 5 birthday twins Lisa Littrell and Ruth Britton.

Harps sadly closed this May 30.
