Happy July X Chapter Family!
First off, Happy Birthday America!! The celebrations around the world and here at home honoring our 250 years were just amazing!
As I am writing this, we are less than 5 months from Christmas-gasp! BMW has provided us with lots of options to make shopping a little easier this year. Have you seen the new X5 (G65)? I certainly wouldn't be opposed to being escorted blindfolded outside Christmas morning in my Christmas jammies (queue the background music), and finding one sitting in my driveway with a big red bow on it. The double X headlights are so creative and eye-catching! I can't wait to see one in person.
Sean Troy, fondly known as the X5 guy or Mr. X, was present at the launch of the new X5. He posted some great videos on his social media from the launch in Greer in case you missed it. It was truly impressive and I was a bit jealous I wasn't there. Sean's a bit of a purest though and has a passion for the E53s. Did you see the announcement that BMW CCA has secured a 25% discount for club members for Harvey's Seatbelt Bags? Harvey's, based in CA, reuses seatbelts to make handbags and totes. They are super cute and even have a Hot Wheels edition tote. I probably just lost half the guys reading this but you'll want to pay attention. What a great way to get a jump start on Christmas shopping for your significant other or BFF by buying super cool Harvey's bag. They do have hats, shirts and billfolds for the men, too. But hurry. The discount expires August 31st. If you didn't receive the discount code (or deleted it), let me know and I can send it to you. I myself am eyeing up the Large Stella bag-hint hint!

Membership Fee Updates: Membership fees will increase beginning August 1, 2026. I encourage you to review your membership and consider renewing now to ensure you are able to take advantage of current rates. Also be sure to include your X Chapter membership in that renewal to ensure you stay connected with us!
Volunteers Needed: The Chapter remains in need of volunteers to assist with many chapter functions - if you have an hour or two per month that you can share, please reach out to volunteer your time. Remember, CCA chapters are 100% volunteer run and it's up to all of us to share our time to make the club what we want.

Member Spotlight: Want to have your X featured in an upcoming newsletter or on our social media? Our fabulous new Membership Director is starting a new program. Submit a good quality photo and a short write-up (50-100 words) to Keisha. She'll take it from there. Let's see those Xs!!!
