In order to initiate a closer connection between the board of the University of Twente and the student teams in the Future Factory, we invited the Rector Magnificus Tom Veldkamp for a tour to show him all of the latest updates and cool innovations within our team. He was really impressed to see our dyno setup and the carbon fibre subframe!

We also kickstarted the connection between the current team and the upcoming Electric Superbike Twente team with a shared barbecue! A great moment for everyone to ease into the exciting year ahead of them. |

| | This month has been one where we started with our actual implementation. This is very exciting, as we are actually seeing everything come to life. The second battery module has been welded, and its CMU is mounted, meaning we can cleanly monitor it. With this module, we have also started testing on our dyno setup, letting it make the motor turn.
We are also doing the final touches on the layout of our low-voltage system, while also implementing it. July was also the month some people have enjoyed holidays, but those are all done now. This means we can go full steam ahead for a busy last month, in which we will make Nexus-TR drive on track! |

For the chassis subteam, we got back our custom carbon fibre subframe from the oven at TPAC. It was amazing to finally see the subframe in real life, stronger and lighter than we even could imagine! The rolilng frame is also completed, which means that all the structural parts of the bike are done! Now it's just finalizing a few parts, and testing the stresses it can bear. |

A package from the MotoStudent competition arrived at our workshop this month! Unboxing it was a great moment for the team, as it contains important components supplied directly by the organization. The delivery includes the official electric motor and the competition tires we will be racing on. Having these parts allows us to start physical testing, bringing us one step closer to moving out of the workshop and onto the track. |

We brought the team together for a dedicated drawing session to brainstorm the new motorcycle livery. We wanted everyone to contribute their ideas on what the design should look like. The session got us plenty of creative concepts, helping us settle on a few core design choices for the final look.
The final design will remain under wraps until the official motor reveal on September 3rd. We are finalizing the details to showcase both our team identity and the partners who make this project possible. | | To get our motorcycle back on the track as quickly as possible, we need a charging setup that is both fast and reliable. That is why we use components from Phoenix Contact for our charging cart.
This year, we used their high-quality components to perform a major upgrade on the charger. By optimizing the system, we can now charge the battery pack three times as fast, reducing our downtime between track sessions significantly.

| | Designing complex boards like our Cell Monitoring Unit (CMU) and Battery Management Unit (BMU) requires precision and expertise. That is where VDL Sintecs comes in.
They kicked off the year by providing our team with an Altium training, which kickstarted our design process. On top of that, their engineers provided design reviews and consultancy, allowing us to learn directly from their experience and optimize our board layout. |
