Good evening,

We hope you have had a good week. August is now upon us and we are working extra hard on the farm so that all of our staff can take a well earned rest. While our staff have been occasionally resting, our cows have been doing the opposite! For the parents out there who have made it to the midway point of the summer holidays (congratulations!), some of our cattle are just beginning their daycare journeys!

Autumn calving has begun!

Just when we were thinking we were in the middle of the British summer, the cows has other ideas. We have had 8 'Autumn' calves born since 1 August, with more coming each day.

Their breeding schedule was brought forward so that they were born earlier in the year and wouldn't have tor brace the winter period when they were very young.

Looking back over July

July was an especially busy month for team flowers. After the thousands of stems picked, hundreds of bouquets curated, and month full of super early starts, it has been nice to take a look back on one of the busiest July's we've ever seen! Keeping Wye Organic sustainable: changes to veg box and delivery prices

From 1st September, we will be increasing the price of our veg boxes and delivery charges.

Like many businesses, we have seen substantial increases in our costs over recent years. Until now, we have absorbed these costs, but our products are now barely breaking even and our current pricing is no longer sustainable.

Our delivery charge of £2.45 remains significantly lower than many comparable services. While we are committed to offering excellent value, we need to ensure our prices more accurately reflect the true cost of growing, packing and delivering high-quality organic produce.

This decision has not been taken lightly. The increase will help us continue providing a reliable service, investing in the farm, and supplying fresh, local organic food for years to come.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued support of Wye Organic and local organic farming.

We are running low on delivery boxes. If you have recently received an order in a box, please leave them out for collection in a sheltered spot before your next delivery.
