Commodore’s Weekend

Come and enjoy our very popular Summer Social & Family Fun Day on Saturday 20th June 2026. Bring family and friends and have fun during the day and then a meal and social in the evening. Including the return of informal Pico match racing on the Saturday. Club pursuit racing will be on Sunday 21st June 2026 – The Graham Cooke Memorial Pursuit Race.

Booking essential for meal on Saturday 20th and closes 6pm Wednesday 17th June.

New - Emergency contacts

Our online membership system is up and running, please take a moment to check your details are correct and to add your emergency contact details. You can make changes to your own personal details but if you need to change your membership, for example by adding boat storage, you can request that here.

Training boats & ILCA/Laser request

Looking after our fleet of 36 training boats is a huge task undertaken by members of the volunteer training team. We have recently purchased a replacement Comet Trio which will be used as replacement hull for one of the current fleet.

As part of our British Sailing Pathway Status we maintain 6 ILCAs which get lots of use, but one hull is now beyond repair. If you have, or know of a suitable ILCA/Laser that is for sale or could be donated please get in touch. Equally we are always on the lookout for replacement spars.

Club Clothing Store

Our club clothing store is proving very popular, further details on our club branded clothing can be found on our website.

Check Clean Dry

This is a national guidance scheme to reduce the risk of the spread of Invasive Non-Native Species. If travelling to or back from an event, please take a moment check your equipment is clean & dry. We have a power washer in the top store for cleaning equipment and there are some signs up around the club.

Closing up

At the end of the day please check that the vehicles are locked up with the windows closed, all the keys are on the back of the office door and that the radios are all back. There is a short checklist by the alarm panel of the clubhouse and completing this helps us keep the site safe & secure.
