  • That if you want to make Dad's day next Sunday, you need to get your orders in by this weekend!

  • How we are getting ready for British Flowers Week

  • that our latest blog is out, and it is making us all thinking about the meat we eat

  • what is in the veg pack shed

  • what will be in next week's boxes

Order your Fathers Day meat this weekend!

Next weekend Dads up and down the country are being celebrated for their kindness, love and various abilities!

Instead of (or as well as!) buying the usual beers, socks or jumper for that special father figure in your life, why not treat him to a roast dinner of champions? Each of our roasting joints has been prepared with care, from livestock that spends its life outdoors grazing our lands. It makes for delicious and tender meat!

British Flowers Week 2026

British Flowers Week runs from Monday 15 June to Sunday 21 June 2026. It is a national celebration of locally grown, seasonal British flowers. The event brings together growers, florists, and flower lovers to spotlight sustainability and the UK cut flower industry.

We will be marking the occasion by talking to florists all about British flowers and how we grow, harvest and pack them so they are in top condition for them to use, as well as harvesting lots of Roses, Achillea, Feverfew, Sweet peas, Ammi, Poppies and Cynoglossum.

Our latest blog talks about bugs

But not the creepy crawly kind... It's all about superbugs!

We all know the obvious benefits that organic farming has; It is better for the local ecosystem, better for the bees, better for the animals, better for the soil, better for your tastebuds etc. etc. But did you know that by eating organic meat over conventional it also means you will be able to fight off superbugs more effectively?

The medicines pumped into conventionally farmed livestock enter into the general food supply and make our medicines weaker against the bacteria that has adapted to fight it.
