Update about our Reaching Communities offer

Reaching Communities funding is now coming to an end, and without continuation support, we face the real risk of reducing access to a centre that hundreds of locals rely on for stability, connection, and early‑intervention mental health support. Over the last five years, this amazing investment has enabled us to build a trusted, inclusive community hub where people facing poverty, mental ill health, isolation and unemployment have rebuilt confidence, formed meaningful relationships and taken positive steps forward. Demand continues to grow, with every course oversubscribed and waiting lists for creative health peer support sessions increasing. Sustaining this work is essential to protect a long‑term, co‑created space where people can connect, create, recover, and thrive.

Free Creative Workshop for 18-30 year olds on 15th July

Join us for a free creative afternoon designed to support wellbeing, confidence and connection through arts and shared experiences.

Creative activities, group exercises, wellbeing tools, and refreshments will be provided in a relaxed and supportive environment.

It's hands-on sessions, and includes all materials and refreshments.

Stitching the Self 27th June 6.30 pm - 9 pm

Explore creativity through textiles. Use simple stitching techniques to create a personal piece that reflects your story, style, and self-expression.

Lino Print Postcards 6th July 6.30 pm - 9 pm

Create your own hand-printed designs. Learn lino cutting and printing techniques to make unique postcards perfect for sharing or keeping.

Ceramic Zoo 23rd July 6.30 pm - 9 pm

Sculpt your own playful animal creations in clay. Get creative, learn ceramic techniques, and bring your wild ideas to life.

We're running the Adult Mental Health First Aid with It's a Playground on 15th and 16th October at our studio in Stockwell. Book here.

Completing our course for qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider for 3 years.

We held our first annual Members’ Gathering in May, and it was such a joy!
Chatting over drinks, sharing art, and connecting with the people who make this community what it is.

We are running hand building pottery workshops fortnightly on Thursday evenings!

We also run these as 5- or 10-week classes now; you have a stamp card so no need to do consecutive weeks. Perfect for bigger projects.

£40/£180/£300 includes a glass of wine/bottle of beer, tea, coffee, soft drinks and nibbles, tools, materials, firing, glazing, postage and packing
