TechCORE2 Nonprofit Corporation ( www.techcore2.org (http://www.techcore2.org) ) is not just a DOPE #TECH #STEM mentoring program, but a culture and mindset shift to make tech careers a real possibility for Philadelphia disadvantaged youth. We teach and model Ready-to-Work jobs skills. Through our pilot Youth Investment Club (YiC) youth are learning eLearning investment course from BetterInvesting.org, and encouraged to invest 10% - 20% of their $1,320 summer earnings into a new stock investment broker account. Additionally, students are encouraged to enroll in the FREE Saturday "BUY The HOOD Financial Literacy Camp".
TechCORE2 H.S. PAID Internship is a "site" of the C2L-PHL Summer Youth Employment under the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) – Summer Youth Employment Program.
