Creative Quantitative Research Methods Showcase Event

Keele University’s Creative Methods Creative Dissemination (CMCD) Group is hosting a free online seminar exploring the emerging field of creative quantitative research methods.

The Creative Quantitative Research Methods Showcase Event will take place on Thursday 22 October 2026, 10.00–13.00, online via Microsoft Teams. The event is open to all.


The keynote, ‘Rethinking the Numbers: Merging Creativity and Rigour in Quantitative Research’, will be delivered by Dr Derek Ong and Dr Helen Kara. The session will explore how approaches including participatory measurement design, AI-assisted data collection, gamified surveys and immersive technologies can bring creativity and innovation to quantitative research. The programme will also include presentations and Q&A sessions, providing an opportunity to hear about creative approaches to quantitative research in practice.
