The success of AIHE's Inaugural International Research Conference, held on 21 October 2026 in Melbourne, was enriched by the contributions of three distinguished academics who generously shared their expertise and leadership.
Dr Peter Mickan, Director of the Adelaide Research Institute (ARI), brought his extensive experience in research, applied linguistics, and academic leadership. In addition to chairing a session, Dr Mickan delivered the conference's Keynote Address.
Dr Joanne Barker, Chair of AIHE's Research Ethics Review Panel and member of its Academic Board, contributed her wealth of experience in international higher education, research, and governance. Dr Barker also delivered the conference's Special Address.
Dr Vanessa Ratten, an internationally recognised scholar in entrepreneurship, innovation, and business management, and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Family Business Management, chaired the session on Leadership, Resilience and Human Capability.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Mickan, Dr Barker, and Dr Ratten for their thoughtful facilitation, valuable insights, and commitment to fostering meaningful academic dialogue.
Great research conferences are not just about sharing knowledge, but also about inspiring conversations, challenging perspectives, and building connections. Thank you for helping make AIHE's inaugural conference a success.
